Photographer/Journalist
Kalila Calame is photographer and journalist who expresses herself through words and a lens.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY for all of her life. Being from such an eclectic city, and encountering many walks of life, has definitely influenced her work.
Her work ranges from addressing injustice, deteriorating stereotypes, showing one's underlying beauty, just to name a few.
She is also a recent graduate of St. Lawrence University (Class of '22), majoring in Communication/Rhetoric (concentration in Journalism) and minoring in African American Studies.
